Mattel My Baby - Baby Knows Doll

This little baby knows it all and can help your child learn too. Place her hand on her body parts and she will tell you what they are. She covers her eyes for peek a boo, blows raspberries, claps her hands and sings songs. Listen to her say her ABCs and speak French too.
A nice doll, for sure. It does do a lot, which makes it quite interactive, and the voice has gone down a treat with my daughter…. but it just doesn’t stop, it’s an endless stream of “bottle mamma, sleepy mamma, blanket mamma”.. seriously, give the kid a break, you’re not a real baby, quit being so damned demanding!
Despite programming it 3 times the voice/name recognition thing just isn’t up to scratch at all, it requires the exact same tone and length as was used in the setup - how many young girls talk exactly the same way all the time? Or even understand the premise!? My daughter called her doll Emma, which should be about the easiest name in the world for voice recognition given it has three distinct phonics - but thus far, no dice.
All in all, it’s not a BAD doll - but it sure as hell isn’t worth the money!
