Having spent some time with the Acer Aspire One A110L notebook we know first hand what its capable of, for portability its ideal and second to none and the easy to use interface makes everything simple. The only downside is the small 8.9-inch LCD, certainly not for all day use.
Main features include Linux OS, 8GB SSD, 512MB DDR2 memory, and a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor. The Acer Aspire One has redefined mobile connectivity.
When it comes to expansion with the Aspire One you should know that the memory is soldered to the board so there is no chance of adding more memory, but when it comes to storage, this is easily expandable. You have an SD card slot on one side that you can easily add a 32GB card, which will be added to the 8GB internal SSD.
On the other side of the UMPC you will see a multi card reader where you can add more storage options and use to view media.

There is actually a free slot available where one can add 1gb of ram. Yes one is soldered, but another is free.
Unfortunately it’s no easily accessible, but it is possible.
