T-Mobile Sidekick Data: Is your service back to normal?

Following on from our earlier story, in which we told you that Microsoft had managed to recover lost data for Sidekick customers, we would like to know how many of you have already had your service restored to normal.

As most of you will be well aware, entire data services were down except for making calls and sending/receiving texts. Affected services included address books, email and Instant Messaging.

We had asked you if your contacts had returned yesterday, but now that Microsoft have made a statement today, full service should now be starting to return to customers.

T-Mobile Sidekick Outage: Are you still affected?

It has been reported that there are still a great deal of T-Mobile Sidekick owners who are suffering the effects of a data outage over the weekend, which surely must be a very frustrating experience.

It was only two weeks ago that we reported on a similar outage occuring for BlackBerry users, but it looks as if T-Mobile has jumped on the bandwagon.

Over at BGR, they are stating that T-Mobile Sidekick users are only able to make calls and send texts at the moment, meaning that email, contacts and IM are still unavailable.
