The Summer Movie Season Climbs The $4 Billion Box-Office Mountain
This weekend’s estimated figures have shown that the industry has narrowly crossed the $4 Billion mark over the weekend, according to box-office tracker Media By Numbers. Paul Dergarabedian, president of the company have estimated that the weekend’s earnings would bring the tally from the first weekend in May through the weekend just gone to $4,003,000 in sales.
