Halo 3 ODST: Is it the worst Halo yet?
We have another review for you to check out now on Halo 3: ODST, which has just been released this week. Much like the previous impressions of the game we told you about, this review states that it is the ‘worst Halo game in the series’. Slightly harsh? Maybe not.
In the review over at TechUnion, they have not wasted any time with their review, prefering to just sum up the game in the following key categories: Background, Story, Gameplay, Graphics and Soundtrack.
Looking down that list, I don’t see any plus points to point out, other than the game’s excellent controls and soundtrack. They have scored the game a 7.5, stating that Halo 3: ODST should of been released as an expansion, rather than marketed as a full game.
Check out their review if you want to read on, it’s not pretty though. If you have any input on this, let us know.

The main updates worth mentioning are that texts can now be viewed and written in landscape mode, also when checking recent calls and voicemail listings a lot more information is available without having to check the separate details screen, There are a few other mentionable updates worth touching on quickly, such as being able to encrypt your iPhone backup which is great for obvious security reasons and also the possibility of listening to your own music whilst playing your favorite games see here. IPhone 3.0 Software News: In Game Soundtracks
June 23, 2009
Filed under Cell Phones, Phone Software
Since Apple released their OS version 3.0 for the iPhone, game developers now believe that they may be able to use player’s own music rather then listening to pre-compiled soundtracks, this does not mean they will stop creating the soundtracks it just is an extra function that may become available soon.
It is not thought to be popular with all game developers for the iPhone as a lot of games rely on atmosphere created by certain soundtracks, however in casual puzzle games the attraction is obvious.
There were a lot of other changes made to the iPhone with OS 3.0, if you are still having difficulty check out our previous post for an Apple iPhone OS 3.0 walkthrough.
For a more in depth look into the potential pro’s and con’s check out PocketGamer.biz.
