EBay Selling Skype
According to a recent report on ComputerWorld it seems that eBay will soon announce a deal which will sell its Skype VoIP service to a group of private investors, when eBay originally acquired Skype they paid $2.6 billion, however this latest deal is said to only be worth $2 billion, the official announcement of this deal is expected today, however nothing is guaranteed. Fring 3.40 now supports Samsung S60 phones

According to a report on IntoMobile it seems that when the new iPod Touch is released it will have a built in microphone and camera, if this is the case it will allow the device to be used for voice-over-IP communication, Skype can currently be used via an inline microphone, however with a built in mic it may become more popular. The headphones, which offer True Fidelity technology, are very lightweight, and some would be put off by that, as they fear that the audio quality would not be that great. Palm Pre and Skype App

Skype have issued a statement that Palm Pre users might not be happy with, it seems that they will not be offering Skype on the new Pre handset for the foreseeable future. A Skype executive stated in the press release statement, that they would keep an eye on the WebOS platform, which is what runs the Palm Pre. Read more
