Samsung Acquisition talks with SanDisk

Samsung Electronics Co. were looking at a number of ways of tying up with SanDisk Corp. The electronics giant is even considering a possible acquisition of SanDisk, the world’s largest flash-memory card maker.

Analysts have said that if Samsung push this acquisition, it could help Samsung reduce the amount of royalties that they have to pay out to SanDisk. The acquisition could also allow Korean electronics giant to have a much tighter control over the memory market.

SanDisk currently get most of their chips from a joint venture that it has with Toshiba Corp., although Samsung are one of their suppliers. At this moment, the global memory-chip market seems to be suffering from an oversupply, a result of the global economy.

Lost data? not with the Cruzer Titanium Plus 4GB USB flash drive

We have all done it, lost our work at some time or another by not backing up, well this could now be a thing of the past, SanDisk have created the Ultra Cruzer Titanium Plus 4GB USB flash drive which has been created in such a way that this little device actually backs up your work to a remote server at the same time.

We are all wondering how this is done, well, according to a reliable source, when you plug in your Cruzer Titanium Plus 4GB USB flash drive into a pc that is connected to the internet, it will then automatically connect to a remote server and slowly back up the content of your flash drive. It does pick up speed as the files compress for quicker transfer rates.

If you are worried about security, no need, as the files are then protected by 256-bit SSL encryption on this remote server. To implement this SanDisk and BelnSync got together for this deal, to purchase the Ultra Cruzer Titanium Plus 4GB USB flash drive it will cost you $49.99, and to add the remote back up service it will cost you $29 a year, I feel a small price to pay for such a great lifesaver.

The guys are so confident they will win you over with this flash drive they offer it will a 6-month free trial on the back up, so you can test it out.
