It has been reported that Brad Pitt is related to US presidential hopeful Barrack Obama.
According to the New England Historic Genealogical Society Brad is a distant cousin of Barrack and they are actually ninth cousins linked by a man called Edwin Hickman who died in 1769.
Genealogist Christopher Child said that “It shows that lots of different people can be related, people you wouldn’t necessarily expect.”
The study found that Barrack is also related to British World War II Prime Minister Winston Churchill and US Vice President Dick Cheney.
British film director Anthony Minghella has died aged 54

British film director Anthony Minghella has died aged 54 after a short illness.
Anthony’s agent Leslee Dart said that he died from complications following surgery last week for cancer of the tonsils and neck.
Leslee said that “The surgery had gone well and they were very optimistic. But he developed a haemorrhage on Monday night and they were not able to stop it.”
The Prime Minister said that “I counted him as a great friend, as did Sarah and our family. He will be deeply missed, but his contribution to British culture will be remembered for many years to come.”
Anthony was married to Carolyn Choa and had two grown-up children, Max and Hannah.
