Palm Pre: Canada Release Date

A Canadian online shop called FutureShop today added a poster to their website, this poster stated that the Palm Pre will be available on Bell as of August 27th. We have not yet had confirmation from Palm nor Bell however the poster looks pretty genuine, if you would like to see the poster head over to FutureShop.

Bell recently began an “in-store, online and magazine ad campaign” so it does seem that this poster is genuine however until this is 100 percent confirmed I wouldn’t rush in to pre-ordering your handset. Read more

Sony PS3 2.51 Firmware to Fix 2.50 BW Forcing 60Hz Problems

It looks like the Sony PS3 2.51 firmware update that should be up next will be fixing the 2.50 black and white problems, this seems to be caused by the Playstation 3 forcing your TV to 60Hz.

This problem is apparently to do with older TV’s and does not affect HDTV’s or some models of PS3, one PR user said that it can be corrected by going to video settings and scrolling all the way to the bottom and change the 50Hz setting from auto to 50Hz Read more

Feature packed ASUS Rampage Formula X48 Motherboard

June 3, 2008

Asus really know how to develop a ROG board, and they have done a blinding job on their new ASUS Rampage Formula X48 Motherboard, the board is based on their new X48 Express chipset. The motherboard is packed with so many great features, more than you could imagine, the guys over at Tweaktown have been putting the board through its paces to see how well it performs.

Find out just what they think with their final thoughts about the ASUS Rampage Formula X48 Motherboard “With every Republic Of Gamers motherboard that ASUS brings to the market, things get better and better. So far ASUS has managed to produce quite a few good offerings, with the newest generation getting some nifty extra features compared to its older generation. This includes the LCD poster, solid state components and latest chipset support. The Rampage series is the latest to come from ASUS, and knowing them it certainly won’t be the last.

One thing ASUS needs to start integrating into its ROG based boards is EPU6, ASUS’ latest energy saving technology. While hardcore overclockers won’t really want it, the users who simply want the best will find this feature being a big selling point, as is the case with GIGABYTEs latest DQ6 boards which have now got DES integrated.

The Rampage Formula was extremely impressive; its overclocking was brilliant and the feature rich BIOS allows for maximum tweaking and overclocking. While we managed to only hit 525MHz, it’s possible with some more tweaking of the voltages and the GTL reference dividers that you’re likely to get some more speed out of the board. And with the latest 45nm CPU, overclocking becomes even easier.”

Do we really need 200 possible endings on Fallout 3 game?

Fallout 3 game
We all like playing games and we really love the ending to be fantastic, but do we really need 200 possible endings on Fallout 3 game?

Yes most games have one ending and we all know that some games offer different endings, but 200 come on that is a bit much isn’t it. Fallout 3 apparently and according to a recent podcast with Bethesda’s Todd Howard there will be 200 possible endings which in my eyes is pathetic.

If the game is that good then we can see this working but would you really play the game 200 times just to see a different ending? (I think not people).

I really want to know what you think of 200 possible endings on Fallout 3.
