Packard Bell Butterfly S FC release imminent
According to a report on SlashGear Packard Bell are set to release a new ultraportable ‘CULV’ laptop in Europe. The CULV (Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage) is called ‘The Packard Bell Butterfly S FC’ and it is expected to be priced at around €650, which is the equivalent to approximately $923.
The Butterfly S FC has a 13 inch display and runs a Core 2 Solo S U3500 which runs at 1.4GHz, it also has 4GB of RAM and a 500GB storage capacity. The S FC also has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics and a HDMI output. With all of these pretty high end components it is no surprise it weighs in at 1.8kg, the laptop also is said to boast a great 8 hour battery life.

Packard Bell dot 160GB Netbook: Launches November
Packard Bell has recently announced its new netbook, say hello to the “dot”, the netbook market seems to be going from strength to strength and now with PB’s new 8.9-inch dot netbook can we see something really special when it release in November.
It does look a little like the Aspire One, the main features on the Packard Bell “dot” includes 160GB hard drive disk, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP operating system, 1024 x 600 resolution display and Intel Atom processor.
It also has built-in Wi-Fi which means you can stay in touch with the world plus, three USB ports, integrated webcam, and a 5-in-1 card reader. This is truly a netbook that should be highly considered when it goes on sale in November, it will retail for approx 399 Euros, UK price has not been released yet.
