Heathrow Airport rolls out driverless pod taxis

Two years ago you may have heard that Heathrow Airport planned to roll out driver-less pod taxis, at the time the idea seemed a bit far fetched and it sounded more like something out of a science fiction movie. However Heathrow Airport are now rolling out these driverless pod taxis.

These new pods are called the ULTra Personal Pod cars, and they can transport four passengers and their luggage at a time. They run on their own road network and are capable of speeds up to 25mph. 2009 Harley Davidson: Touring’s new chassis, VRSC new model

2009 Harley Davidson Line
Harley Davidson fans have been looking for information all day today about the new 2009 Harley Davidson line of motorcycles; we can confirm that in the last few hours the news has broke.

When we looked at Harley Davidson’s site around 12 hours ago, there was no mention of 2009 models, just the 2008 range.

If you visit this page on the USA version of HD’s site then you will see the complete 2009 line-up and it includes and a new addition to its VRSC line and a new chassis for the seven Touring models.

The 2009 Touring bikes have been radically changed, you could say that they are new motorcycles thanks to the new engine mounting and exhaust, different wheels, a new frame and swingarm.

All these changes to the 2009 Harley Davidson Touring bikes have resulted in some nice improvements, these include better luggage capacity, heat management and maneuverability.

If you visit the 2009 motorcycles page on Harley Davidson’s site you will also see the new V-Rod Muscle, this addition to the VRSC street motorcycles features a sweeping side-pipe exhaust and five-spoke aluminum wheels.

Have a look at the new line-up and let us know what you think, also see other Harley Davidson news here.
