A brand new survey recently put forward claims that the hard swearing chef Gordon Ramsay is the top choice for most Londoners if they could have any high-profile personality in the running for mayor.

This is why we ask “Which celebrity would be a good Mayor of London? Londoners were asked if they could choose a celebrity as a high-profile face to fun for Mayor, and here are the results.
31% of Londoners chose Gordon Ramsey with 14% was David Walliams of Little Britain and Prince Harry got a cool 13%.

Other celebrities like Hugh Grant got 7%, Kelly Osbourne 7%, David Beckham 7%, Kate Moss 4% and Madonna 3%.

The survey of 1,000 registered voters in the capital was commissioned by the online betting exchange, Betfair. Ken Livingstone is considered by Londoners to be the more trustworthy of the two with a cool 26% of people believing in him to be more likely to keep promises in his election; Boris Johnson got only 17%.

The new Republican candidate to become the President of the United States of America is John McCain, following his Primaries win in Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont. McCain is expected to receive the full support of President Bush later today.

John McCain has been paying tribute to his opponent Mike Huckabee, who yesterday threw the towel in after he knew that he was defeated. Also some good news came out of the election race for Democratic hopeful Hilary Clinton as her campaign was giving a life line as she took some crucial wins in the states of Ohio and Texas.
