New 32GB SDHC Class 10 Card from Buffalo

According to a recent report on AkihabaraNews Buffalo have recently announced a new range of Class 10 SDHC memory cards, these cards are available in a range of capacities which include 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB.

Class 10 cards have a transfer rate of up to 10MB/s, due to this fast transfer rate they are extremely suited for use in DSLR cameras and HD camcorders.

US prices are not yet known however the 4GB cards are said to retail in Europe for €29, the 32GB cards are said to retail in Europe for €305, we do not currently have a breakdown of the prices for the card sizes in-between, however when we hear more we will keep you posted, check out AkihabaraNews’s article here.

Now this is a nice surprise for all you LCD lovers, we all know that over the past LCD displays has had a resolution gap when it comes to 22 and 24-inch LCD monitors, well Buffalo come up trumps with their new display.

They have decided to pack in full HD resolution into its 22-inch LCD monitor, yes you still get the cool 1920×1200 goodness, but you also get a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 170-degree viewing angle, 300cd/m² brightness and 5ms response time.

Now comes the hard part, yes that’s right “The Price”, 280 Euro, around about $400.

Buffalo launches HD DVD/Blu-ray combo drive

It has been announced that Buffalo Technology have launched their first external optical disk drive and the BRHC-6316U2 is a Blu-ray and HD DVD combo drive that can both read and write Blu-ray and read HD DVD.

Buffalo have said that this combo drive is easy to use, with a simple plug and play connection to any PC via a USB interface

The Blu-ray and HD DVD combo drive will be available in April

Just a few weeks after I upgraded from a hand sized 80GB external hard drive to a 250GB version a little smaller, I am now hearing about an unbelievable 1TB Buffalo LinkStation Mini which also fits in your hand.

I told all my friends and family about my really cool 250GB hard drive…they were amazed, wait to they hear about Buffalo’s new gadget. The Buffalo LinkStation Mini NAS has Dual 500GB 2.5-inch hard drives in such a small enclosure, also sporting RAID 0 / RAID 1. Other features include the ability to read memory cards and other mass storage devices, an FTP server, share a printer via USB, DLNA and iTunes capability. Shipping will be in March for 85,000 yen (around $824). How small will they go?
