AMD ATI Radeon HD 5970 hands-on review: Fastest graphics card
November 24, 2009
The AMD ATI Radeon HD 5970 graphics card has both a high price and high-end performance. This card is the perfect way to future-proof your new PC, and if you can afford the high $850-$1000 price then it’s the perfect way to flaunt your latest PC component.
Last week we wrote about the Radeon HD 5970 specs and price. Today PC World published a hands-on review with the Radeon HD 5970, which details the pros, cons, and graphics benchmarks.
They found the card good at supporting multiple monitors, loved the mini DisplayPort output and fantastic performance. On the downside, AMD’s ATI Radeon HD5970 won’t fit in small cases, gets loud and hot under duress, and is very power hungry.
AMD markets this card as the “fastest graphics card in the world”, and PC World had to agree after their review. Read their hands-on review, and then let us know your thoughts.
