January 20, 2009
Since the launch of the Apple App Store, there have been some cool applications for the iPod Touch, but I think I might have found the best yet, the BulletFlight App. To use this application you will need the M110 Sniper Rifle with iPod Touch Mount.
The M110 is a .62×51mm semi-automatic sniper rifle, which will replace the aging M24 bolt-action sniper system. This new system is seeing action in both Afghanistan and Iraq. The M110 Sniper Rifle is based on the SR-25.
Knights Armaments are the company who developed the iPod Touch mount, which attaches to the side mounted picatinny rail, this mount attaches to an Otterbox protective case. The application is available from the App Store for $11.99
