This is the Acer AX1300-U1801A desktop PC that comes pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium and has an AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 7450 processor with a speed of 2.4GHz.
The AX1300-U1801A also includes a 320GB SATA hard drive, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, a 1MB L2 cache and a total of 9 USB ports.

just bought this computer an it works great i havent had any trouble out of it an it plays pretty much any game you put on it i would recommend this computer to anybody

I’ve only had this machine for 3 weeks and it gives me problems when starting up. It keeps getting stuck on the login screen.

Seems to be good value after 3 weeks use, with a couple of minor bugs; SD card isn’t consistently detected when inserted in slot, which could be software or hardware issue; some Media Center recordings have ‘hickup’ interruptions, again could be software or hardware caused; and the CPU fan has a slight whine when it speeds up under a bit of a load, i.e. when multi-tasking, not comfortable at times when used as a living room media center, but that does seem to be unavoidable with smaller computer boxes, at least the ones I’ve owned. On the positive side it handles general graphics and web sites very fast. Walmart.ca has a good deal on these including a monitor and speakers.

Have had it for almost 30 days. Overall I like it. It is fast for 3D gaming, for programmming visual basic, and for editing videos. I have not burned a CD. Downloading soft ware has been very quick I downloaded all needed software the first night in less than two hours, my wonderful Dell took two days.
Biggests Cons are three times now we have had to shut off power though the power button as the screen went blank and after switching monitors it turned out to be the computer. Not sure what went wrong.
the other issue is it is a SMALL case that cannot take expansion slot cards. We can not install a firewire slot due to the small size.
Otherwise, not ever having a non- Dell or non- Intel processor it really can perform and the first week I tried to overload it to test its limits in deciding if we were keeeping it or not.

got mine aug.14th , have had issues with the screen going blank while online. you would have to reboot to get everything going again . had a major crash 2 weeks ago , after a microsoft update. windows would not load after i powered down for the night. would not start in any mode. i have to do a complete recovery. i do think it is a windows problem , not acer.
