Sony BRAVIA KDL-32XBR9 32-Inch LCD HDTV Reviews

I just got my xbr9 today n i most say is incredible. The picture is A in my books n sound an A everything is an A. As of now i cant find any flaw with it n da motion flow is crazy with games. Overall is a great tv n i recommend this tv to anybody with a budget go get nowwwlol but really go get it n since im da 1st to write a review any questions just ask.

I just bought the 32″ XBR9 as well, and I have to say it is a GREAT deal for what you are getting. Now my only concern is that for the “Dynamic Contrast Ratio” auto feature (where the screen dims during a dark scene), how the heck do you disable that? I tried everything and nothing seems to work. The screen dimming is beginning to be annoying. Maybe you can help Hitman?

Oh, I also tried turning off the “Advance Contrast Enhancer”, which seems to be irrelevant to what I am referring to above. Anyone with any information on how to disable the “Dynamic Contrast Ratio” auto feature, will definitely help and much appreciated!

“I have read review that this model dim in and out and got darker on a dark scene. I found out if you used HDMI line with a upconverting DVD player, this problem will happen. I think in the process of upconverting 480 to 1080 it causes the dimming and darken effect in the dark scene. If you used component and composite line, this problem will be solved. Try it and enjoy your Sony 32″ XBR9. ”
