PS3: “Cannot Find the Correct Hard Drive”

My PS3 is less than two years old with light use. Grandkids use it a little for gaming when they visit and we use it for a BlueRay movie once a week.
When I tried to play a BlueRay movie last night, nothing happened. It turned on and accepted the DVD, but did not load. After a number of attempts, a window came up stating “Cannot Find the Correct Hard Drive”. That’s it. I’ve tried games, BlueRay DVD’s, regular DVD’s, etc. same situation. Anybody have any ideas, or should I just call Sony for the $150 rip off?
