Sony Blu-ray Player: S360 looses the digital sound connection

When selecting “play movie2 option it looses the digital sound connection. This doesn’t happen if the disc goes straight to the film or on standard dvd’s. The digital sound notification is present and there is audio prior to selecting the play movie option.
