Unable to get on PS3 Home

Anyone out there not able to get on ps3 home lately. I got the most recent update for home last night ,( 1st october 09 ), but it wont let me on now,tried again today ,but no joy.whats going on , how do i fix the problem.

    my ps3 was working fine, then i updated to the 3.0 firmware and its just stop reading discs, i tried everything but opening it up, because just a few months ago i installed new lens cause my ps3 got fuked up and now i dont want to spend no more money. is the 3.2 firmware going to solve the problem?? HELP

    i updated home today 09.10.09 and when it is initiating it seems to just freeze! the load icon in the top right hand corner just stops
