   yo its call of duty 5, world at war is made by treyarch. COD5 is being made by infinity ward. IW even calls cod4 cod3. if you look at your menu at the beginning of the game and look to the left, you will see the icon IW3. its the 3rd game they made and the actual cod3 sucked anyway, and they thought so too since the game was made by treyarch.

   Duuhhh of course its COD5, COD world at war isnt even a proper COD game, just like Halo you stick Halo on anything it will sell, so they did the same then added Call of Duty feature e.g. online ranking system, pre-mission stories, two seperate stories fighting the same war in different locations and the obviouse Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare engine/graphics system

   i don’t care what they call it as the game will be amazing.
   All COD games were great apart from the third one which was terrible. the only thing that lets it down is that it wont be out until the summer lol

   Dont really care to be honest. As long as it is as good as COD4-Modern Warfare then why does it matter if you call it COD5 or 6…..just play it.

    It is neither Cod 5 or 6 dont get fancy with numbers it is really Cod 11 or something like that because they already made about 11 Call of Duty’s.
    Just call it COD, MW, or Warfare 2

    it is cod 5 because cod waw never had a number and because there have been other call of duty’s. technically this is the 9th game coming out. activision was the publisher of all of them but infinity warde only made cod 1, 2, 3, 4 and soon to be mw 2( cod 5). treyarch and some other bull crap company made the othes like frontlines

    Call of duty 4 ( 5 )
    Call of duty WAW ( 6 )
    Call of duty Modern warfare 2 ( 7 )

    Actually Call of Duty World at War is a filler. It’s not Call of duty 5. Either Call of duty modern warfare 2 is another filler, or it’s Call of duty5. Just check the cover for WaW!

    Lol cody. Don’t talk unless you know what you’re talking about. Clearly you haven’t been playin COD very long if you didn’t even include the first COD made.. (being known as .. omg.. call of duty!) And it’s expansion COD: united offensive.

    And call of duty: big red one is *technically* a call of duty 2 expansion, but it’s a standalone xpac.

    COD 3 was made by treyarch, but yes, it is in the line of numbers for the games, and so technically it IS cod3. The fact that it’s treyarch doesn’t affect that.

    So whether or not COD MW2 will be 5 or 6 i don’t know.COD:WAW technically doesn’t have it’s own number, and in its own way is almost a stand-alone expansion to cod4. So my answer is i dunno =/ but I wouldn’t be surprised if MW2 is COD5, based on the fact that COD: finest hour was a similar deal, and wasn’t considered cod3

    You’re all wrong. It won’t be under the call of duty moniker. It will be straight “Modern Warfare 2″, no call of duty involved.

    its neither modern warefare 2 doesnt even have call of duty in the label and waw is just like what big red one was to call of duty 2 but waw wasnt based of 4 and was kind of retarted……
