Horror Movie for Sprint’s Samsung Instinct: Win $10,000

Samsung Instinct
When it comes to online marketing of any product it can be done in many ways and these days we are seeing this taken to more extremes with every new product launch. The Cloverfield viral marketing campaign was very impressive, now Sprint’s Samsung Instinct has taken the movie theme for their latest cellphone online marketing campaign.

Below this post you can see a video that may have already started (just click replay), this video shows a Horror movie theme that promotes the new Sprint Samsung Instinct phone. On their site they have many other movie themes promoting this uberphone of the moment, these include cops, chase, spy and trailers.

This kind of marketing really makes me smile as it can be very corny sometimes, but they are still excellent as they make you remember and even come up as a point of discussion with friends and family, just what Sprint plan. This marketing campaign by the brand is just the start, they are also offering the first 1,000 users $20 to incorporate the Instinct into a home video posted on YouTube.

That kind of marketing can really help reach millions more users online, Sprint want you to make a home movie like many YouTube users do everyday and also just by including the Samsung Instinct you get to make some money as well. This contest is going to start on June 30 and forget the small prize of $20; there is some real big money up for grabs. You can also win $10,000 if you make the best home video with a touch of Sprint’s Samsung Instinct.

You can find out more on Sprint’s website, will you be entering this competition and feel free to share ideas you have for the video or maybe not.
