If you have just started on Pokemon Go and want to know how to how to get Pikachu in Pokemon Go as a starter, you’ve come to the right place.
Naturally, everyone wants to know where to find Pikachu in Pokemon Go as he’s easily the most popular out of all the hundreds of Pokemon created to date.
You may not realise it, but there is actually a way to find Pikachu’s location in Pokemon Go at the very start of the game – but developers Niantic do make it very straight forward or clear to players.
It seems to us like this is actually something of an easter egg. This is because you have to manually decline the three starters that the game pushes upon you at the start, these being Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur of course.
To catch Pikachu in Pokemon Go, you need to walk away from the 3 starters mentioned above and do this 4 times. If done correctly, you will then see Pikachu appear and you can then start the battle and attempt to catch the creature using a Pokeball.
It is as simple as that, but obviously many players will be unaware of this and continue through the game as either Squirtle, Bulbasaur or Charmander.
Try it out now and report your results below in our discussion section. Were you able to get Pikachu in this way and can confirm that this method works?
