Skimboard Surfer - £39.99
If you don’t have the fancy footwork of Beckham or the sprinting stamina of Paula Radcliffe, do not despair. There are always more quirky sports you could give a go – skim-boarding for example. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this innovative concept, here’s a quick explanation: Skim-boarding is a hydroplaning technique which involves the boarder running at speed towards a thin layer of water, dropping the board down and mounting it with one foot, allowing the other to follow. He/she then skims along the water for as long as possible, manoeuvring the board in various directions. A lot like surfing, you might think, but the difference is that Skim-boarding can be performed in the comfort of your own back garden.
