The new Navigon 2100 is a smaller version of the much larger Navigon 5100 and the 7100. The 2100 has a glossy black finish; the size of this new Sat-Nav is 4-inches wide by 3.1 Inches high and 0.8-inches deep, and the device only weighs in at 5.6 ounces. As the GS is small and compact it makes it much easier to carry around if you move from vehicle to vehicle, it is that small that you could actually use it on a bicycle.
Although small the Navigon 2100 GPS has a 3.5 inch touch screen, which is larger than I expected. The best feature is not the list price at $249 but the extensive feature set for that price which includes reality view, routing, spoken street names, speed warnings, routing with 20 waypoints and many other advanced features, such as continued navigation when satellite lock is lost.
