Finding the money for a new Apple MacBook Air might not be the only hard bit as you will also have to decide which of the two options you want and if you have the money for the more expensive model (is it really worth the $1300 extra).
When I brought my Apple Mac it was easy, I just went for value for money and highest specs I thought was good for the price. The problem with the MacBook Air is the $1300 extra for the 1.8GHz seems very high, even if you do get an SSD (Solid State Disk). Lets list the specs on these two Mac laptop models and see what you’re getting.
The 1.6GHz Apple MacBook Air has Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi2 and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a 80GB 4200-rpm PATA hard drive1, 2GB memory and that Intel Core 2 Duo processor and will cost you $1,799.00. Now the 1.8GHz laptop comes with the same apart from the higher spec processor and a 64GB solid-state for $3,098.00 in total.

When you get your Mac Air it will come with Printed and electronic documentation, Install/restore DVDs, a display polishing cloth, Micro-DVI to VGA adapter, Micro-DVI to DVI adapter, 45W MagSafe Power Adapter, AC wall plug, and power cord. Not to forget you also get the MacBook Air. You can buy both laptops for the above prices on the Apple Store.
Now how hard a choice is it to pay $1300 more for 0.2GHz extra and a 64GB SSD?
