I’m in the UK, just installed what was a Mandatory update. I guess Sony will put on the blog later that it “increases stability in some titles” like they always say.

just signed in Aus update was mandatory when I tried to go on psn. install and reboot fine now playing wipeout all good.

mandatory.. i cant sign in to ps network “yet” i keep getting error message during the update. used to download it from the site with laptop then get it with USB stick but wow this one not avaiable on the site yet???

Definitely a first-world problem. I’d also put money on these owners being underwhelmed by ICS, if they’re already running Honeycomb it’s not a whole lot different.

4.11 just installed. Mandatory update in Japan (not installing this update results in anything that requires PSN sign in, not to work).

zzzzzz…Had my 360 kinect bundle since its first day of release. Still runs like it just got out the box. Guess it just depends on how the owner takes care of it.

I’m updating now.. Hopefully this update removes that annoying epilepsy warning… I don’t have modded console, so I have nothing to fear. What you guys are afraid of? Losing one game..? Or losing jailbreak..?

I am from Australia and would like to buy a PS Vita but you only have to do the maths.
PS Vita, non-3g $348
16Gb memory card $68
F1 2011 game $68
Golden Abyss game $68

That’s $552 for only 2 games and does not include a case or protective screen. $622 for the same package with the 3g version.

Sony only sold 13000 of these last week in Japan and offering a 10% discount on games from the SEN definitely is not going to turn these figures around.

Sony seem to be under the illusion that everything they touch turns to gold. I think most people will do the maths, pull out their smart phones and keep happily playing fun games the got for free or paid less than $5. PS Vita will only be taken up by hard cord gamers willing to pay the premium the extra Vita offers. I don’t think this group is big enough to give the PS Vita the momentum it needs to be seen as a must have. If Sony don’t change their marketing strategy quickly it will take the same path as the PSP GO.

ya, i have the sensation, the phone isnt as impressing as the 4g comercials say it is. ive already had to send the phone in for a crashing problem, where it just suddenly didnt want to work, and i have next to no apps. and the phone shuts itself off randomly, and takes forever to start back up.
