Guys, this is total BS. The reason this rumor was started was because of the massive numbers of people playing W@W. There are a lot of W@W players having this error simply because there are a lot of W@W players. Period. I can’t believe people propagate such ridiculousness.

Well I fix a lot of friends PC’s and some of them come to me with IE6, even though it is seriously outdated they seem happy enought with it, thats how its possible.

Why the hell are us Vista users, who bought a PC configured with it with no choice to get XP in the first place and didnt even know what Vista was going to do to us, going to have to pay for what really is an Update not an Upgrade!?
I dont have money to throw around just to get something that i should have gotten in the 1st place with my notebook! This is retard. i really think that Microsoft is screwing us all over and that we (Vista Users) should do something about it. Its not fair that just the people that buy a new PC that comes with Vista should get the free “Update” later on the year. It ridiculous, the only reason that M$ is “giving away” the “Upgrade” to the people that buy a new PC starting July 1st is that they dont what to lose money and what pisses me off the most is that what they are basically saying is that Windows 7 is more of an Update not and Upgrade. Apple is a lot more expensive but they did give away some of there OS’s for free without asking their customers for money! They didn’t do what M$ is doing by making betas and RCs and then just giving a certain group within months of its release the UPGRADE for free!
I guess what I’m basically saying in short is that we should boycott M$ until we get what we deserve.

I bought the palm pre 4 days ago and these are the reasons why I plan to return it if the upgrade to 1.0.4 doesnt work:

- Tried to open an application, being asked to discard cards to have more available memory, closed ALL cards, and still showing the same message. For what is the multitasking feature if you can’t even open 1 card?

- GPS not being able to identify my current location.

- Google maps doesn’t know where I am, the blue dot doesnt follow me, but stays in the start point.

- Takes too long to launch applications

- I have a facebook event from 5.30pm to 6.30 pm and it shows as an 8pm-9pm event in the calendar.

- Once it freezed when using google maps

If these keeps happening I will ask to discontinue service, return phone, and getting an iphone with ATT.

Both are good consoles, but I’ve barely played the XBox any.
Here are the reasons that make both consoles pretty unique.

PS3-
-Free Internet (A really big reason so many people own one)
-Good Graphics (Depending on which games)
-Plays Blu-ray
-Friend Feature (Nice)
-Virtual World (PSHome. Look for videos on YouTube.com)

XBox-
-Good Games (and lots of them)
-The Controller (Lots of buttons=More things you are able to do)

World of Warcraft on mobile is a great idea.Personally I feel that Wow addiction is a real threat, but I would not consider it as a mental disorder or a disease. Anything in the world can be addicted and abused, it is all about moderation.

I too have been a Palm user for a very long time. I was so excited about the Pre and had high hopes for it for many reasons; to wipe the smirks off i-phone users, for the stock to go up, to finally be able to upgrade to a more functional phone than my Treo. I mean I REALLY wanted to love the Pre. But alas, the Pre just isn’t ready for prime time yet. I have had almost all the problems others have mentioned. The case gets uncomfortably hot when using the phone. In fact, the case gets a bit warm at times for no reason that i can ascertain. The battery life is amazingly short, even tho I do not talk that much, have the Blue tooth turned off, the Wi-Fi off when not needed, etc etc etc. The case on the phone is very flimsy. There is lateral movement when it is closed. When I press on the keyboard on the right side it compresses and makes a squeaking noise. I would hate to think what would happen if I dropped this phone! My screen display sometimes goes on and off for no reason at all. Ironically it happened once when I was showing the rep at my local Sprint store about the case movement problem. I was surprised and disappointed about the lack of Aps available. And although i have had he phone for 2 weeks now, a lot of the programs (particularly the Calander) do not feel intuitive. I know there is a learning curve with all things, but this one seems a steep curve. I have ordered a replacement Pre due to the sloppy case, but I have decided to chuck it all and reconnect my Treo. I’ll wait to see if the 2nd edition of the Pre is any better. Let’s hope they decide to go with a metal case this time around and perhaps a glass screen.

I have to say that I will not be buying the Walkman X 1000 and will opt for the Zune HD instead. this is because Sony failed to include Playstation store support so i can sync my downloaded movies to the device. I was the only one who thought about that when they announced it at CES 2009 in January. I tried so hard to get them to listen to me but they wouldnt and neither did Sony insider despite all the comments i left.

I wrote a blog entry detailing how angry i am at Sony about this lol. Oh, and now that I mention it, I wrote a blog sometime in january trying to start a rumor that the walkman would get Playstation store support so they could hear me and listen!!

the only thing that im looking for are customizable characters like in Rainbow Six vegas 1 & 2. And When u get to a high enough prestige you can use 2 diff attachments such as silencer and red dot for example for a perk. those are 2 of my main ideas that i think would be a great idea.

The iPhone is nice, but if it is such a hot device, why can’t Apple produce more than one model, and why isn’t it updated more frequently? Most mobile phone makers don’t rely on just one model, and Apple should consider this if they are actually interested in market share rather than just profits.
