The proof is thanks to Engadget Spanish, it seems that while out shopping they come across a case for the new gadget. The case is taller than the older case, so it does look as if the taller iPod Nano will be coming in the next few days.
The case has been made by Hama; it says on the package that the Sport Case is specifically for the Apple iPod Nano 4G. So what other proof do we need? Check our more images here.
New iPod touch, it could it be a hoax
September 2, 2008
So we are wondering if our information spies have found out some hot news, or if it could merely be a Photoshop re-touch or us going completely mad? We are talking about the launch of a possible new iPod touch.
After seeing the Best Buy advert that showed a image of a iPod touch that looked slightly different to the one which is out now, normally we probably would not have mentioned this as it could just be a dodgy photograph, but with the news that the new iPod nano is coming out around the 9th of September, and all the rumours that are flying around saying that there is going to be a new iPod touch coming out it just makes us feel ablidged to let you know too.
Well I am sure we will find out soon, and with Christmas just a few months away, I’m sure it will be out sooner rather than later, we can feel it in our bones.

Sony’s New S-AIRPLAY (AIR-SA20PK) for Apple iPod Players
August 22, 2008

Today Sony has unveiled its new wireless multi-room music system that’s designed for use with iPod Touch and other compatible iPod players. The new system is called S-AIRPLAY (AIR-SA20PK) and it uses S-Air technology.
The S-AIR Digital Wireless technology makes it easy to listen to music in multiple rooms, it gives you the ability to transmit sound to plug-and-play compact speakers from your iPod. You can send the audio to up to ten speakers.
Sony’s S-AIRPLAY also has dual source, multi-zone capability that will allow your dock to transmit separate signals to each AIR-SA15R receiver/speaker. This means you could have an AM/FM radio station playing in the kitchen, while your iPod music players on another speaker in the living room.
The composite audio/video out connection will let you display video content that’s on your iPod, onto your large screen TV. This Dock to a television will let you see the bigger picture much easier; you can also connect the dock to a home theater receiver.
The Sony AIR-SA20PK will be available in September, but Sony are now taking pre-orders on their website. The device will cost $400, and the additional S-Air wireless speakers will be priced at $130.

Boston Acoustics Horizon i-DS2 iPod speaker system
August 19, 2008

This is the Boston Acoustics Horizon i-DS2 iPod speaker system, and its feature set is solid. The i-DS2 iPod will have no problems filling your room with clean and powerful bass thanks to the high performance full-range speakers.
The main features include: USB connector for iPod communication with iTunes, a composite video output for video-capable iPods, an auxiliary input for connecting additional media players, the remote control will put basic iPod functions at your fingertips and the 15 watts RMS/30 watts Dynamic Output Power per channel will please most music lovers.
Boston Acoustics Horizon i-DS2 will control and charge all dockable iPod models, and that’s more than we can say about the Bose docking station we have that fails to support the iPhone 3G.
The only problem we see with the Horizon i-DS2 is the price tag, $179.99 is not the cheapest for this kind of setup. What do you look for in an iPod docking solution?

iBlock Speaker for iPods and the iPod Touch
August 15, 2008

Speakers for your iPod can be clunky affairs. They very rarely fit in your pocket, and we’re almost certain none of them look like a building block, even if they’re almost the same size. That is until now!
The iBlocks have been cleverly modelled on one of our favourite childhood building blocks (you know the ones we mean) and are small enough to pop in your pocket, so there’s no need for extra cases or wires to clutter up your bag.
The sound is pretty impressive for something so small; the Active Bass System makes sure the speakers give out quite a kick.
All you need to do to get it working is to plug it in and we just love the volume control buttons that have been camouflaged to look like ‘bumps’ and discreetly placed in the middle of the block.
The iBlocks are compatible with 3rd Generation iPods onwards and the iPod Touch. You can buy them on IWOOT or view other gadgets and technology here.

Alternative to pitfalls of traditional white Apple iPod earbuds
July 11, 2008
Filed under Audio & Video Gadgets, Gadgets, iPod Gadgets

Eschewing the pitfalls of traditional, white iPod earbuds, cutting-edge audiophile brand Radius’ earphones are functional, fashionable and fitness-friendly. Three lines of these earphones—TruTune, Atomic Bass and Atomic Straps—are now available in the US.
Radius brand products universally feature three sizes of soft, silicone earpiece covers, the earphones cushion the inner ear; provide a snug fit to ensure the earphones stay put; and minimize outside noise interference.
The color gives a sleek aluminum look in a rainbow of colors—including blue, red, teal, silver and violet—match the iPod Nano or your personal style.
You will find them a fraction of the cost of comparable models, Radius earphones are budget friendly without sacrificing quality or style.
“The iPod’s downfall is its subpar earbuds which rarely fit, hurt your ears, fall out and let in unwanted noise,” said Ben Sedaghat, Radius North America. “Radius addresses all of those problems and adds awesome sound quality, energy efficiency and more.”
Atomic Bass - Out-performing earphones more than twice as costly, the Atomic Bass line ($39.95) is designed to enhance hip-hop beats and dance rhythms. An angled tube chamber sits in your ear canal and acts as a tuned port so the bass can be felt and music sounds clear and natural. Music fans on the go will also appreciate the battery-friendliness of this model. With an impedance of 32Ω—twice that of normal earphones—Atomic Bass earphones have added efficiency, meaning your iPod battery doesn’t have to work so hard and each battery charge lasts longer.
TruTune - Priced at the super-affordable $34.95, TruTune earphones are ideal for the casual music fan and fashion-focused individual, blurring the lines between sound gear and fashion accessory. In addition to the colorful look, an extra long cable offers extended flexibility, especially at the gym.
Atomic Strap - Specifically designed for the third generation iPod Nano, Atomic Strap ($39.95) is the ultimate solution for making music mobile: a soft strap that rests on the back of your neck brings the ear pieces into perfect reach and eliminates the need for a pocket or arm strap. The Atomic Strap shares the same ear pieces as Atomic Bass, for perfect acoustics and a deep, powerful sound, as well as its battery-friendly impedance level.
