Asus Eee Stick: How Nintendo Wii Remote should look

When I first laid eyes on the Asus Eee Stick I thought it was a couple of new controllers for the Nintendo Wii. Ok so I am a little dumb, but I bet I was not the only one who thought it.

The name that Asus has chosen “Eee Stick” is a strange one as they are a couple of sticks that are mated to a wireless receiver. So what is the Eee Stick I hear you ask, well they are basically a gamepad that has been split in half. This is something that Sony had hoped to launch at some stage.

The Eee Stick has motion sensing technology like the Wii Remote; I bet Nintendo wish that they had designed theirs to look as sleek as these. Asus has said that tailored games that require the Eee Stick will come bundled in the controllers.

As yet there is no idea when the Eee Stick will be released, but Asus reps have hinted that the UK could see them sometime in September.

Asus will make an announcement in the next few weeks.

Is Microsoft really working on 360 Wiimote control? No Confirmation

360wiimote
We are not too sure if this is real or just a little bit of fun, but what we do know is we will just wait and see the outcome. According to MTV News Microsoft are at this time secretly developing a Wiimote-like motion controller for the Xbox 360.

Hey Nintendo get your suing shoes on! No seriously a source has said that the new unit has been in development since August, the interface is be developed by Rare.

The whole Wiimote-killer idea should be much better than the Nintendo control because it will feature an analog stick, four face buttons, microphone and possibly integration with the Xbox Live Vision Camera.

It seems though Microsoft are having problems getting this new control out by the end of the year, so as I said above, shall we just sit back and wait to see what happens.

Want your PC game playing to be even more realistic? This is the ultimate accessory for you. This flak jacket simulates every shot, punch and explosion, using eight pneumatic cells. While the 3rd Space FPS Vest is just for PC’s, Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 gamers are going to want this. Could you imagine playing COD4 with this impact vest on, the times when I am playing and just feel like running out and end up dying 5 times in row will not be happening with this vest on, unless I have a hunger for pain.

Would you want to feel the force of every shot you take in FPS games?

The product includes a copy of Activision’s Call of Duty 2 and 3rd Space Incursion game disc, a power supply, USB cable, air compressor and the FPS Gaming Vest for just under £150 (about $295). You will also need Microsoft Windows XP or higher.

Playing Chess Set To Become A Lot More Exciting

If you’re a fan of Chess, you might be interested in this Thinking Table. In the past, Chess was a mind game where each player planned his move and plotted his strategies against his opponent. However, if you play Chess on the Thinking Table, it will predict the probable moves the player is planning for you!

The computer’s thoughts are then sketched on the screen as it plays and a map of thousands of possible moves are illuminated on the board.

The Thinking Table is currently a work in progress but I have a feeling if it becomes available, playing Chess will be a lot more fun!
