We ask the question “Are Cheap MP3 Players Any Good?”
Lets look at three solid-staters to get an idea at their worth.

Creative Muvo 128MB
Slashing the price of this model, Creative have tried to make this mp3 player more appealing, but sadly it’s pretty basic with no screen and all the music tracks get placed in the root directory which is very annoying.
On the plus side the Muvo 128MB does play MP3 and WMA files and is a great price (About £27 in the UK and $25 on Amazon)

Emagic Pendrive 128MB
This is a budget player but does look quit flash with its shiny (fake metal case).
There is no support for WMA files and music transfers are slow, but if you’re looking for decent value for money this could be an option.
Priced at about £19/$35

Nex Kube
The Kube does not come with any built-in memory so you will need to add this to the price, this mp3 player is a bit different. Although it plays mp3’s it also is a portable compact Flash card reader and can read cards up to 2GB.
