The Apple Mac Mini desktop computer will be getting a spec overhaul update according to AppleInsider which is great news for those who love this mini PC.

The overhaul update of the Apple Mac mini form factor desktop computer will be 45-nanometer Core 2 Duo mobile chips starting at 2.1GHz with 3MB of shared L2 cache, an 800MHz front-side bus (up from 667MHz), and a step up to the same Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics processor employed by the existing line of 13-inch consumer MacBooks.”

When this will all happen is something we need to find out and the date has not been revealed yet, but we are looking forward to the new refreshed models. So if you are planning on buying an Apple Mac Mini just wait a little bit for the updated ones.

Asus like so many other companies are starting to go environmentally friendly materials friendly, so they are looking to make their line of products greener. Asus are thinking of launching a new range of products that have been made from environmentally friendly materials, such as Bamboo.

Bamboo is very tough and is friendly to the environment; let us hope that they take the Bamboo from a sustainable source. The list of product that will be made from this greener alternative is computers and notebooks, and also monitors.

Asus could be on to a good thing here, as all their plastic made products are stating to look much the same as every other notebook and monitor on the market.

Having a quick look at the photo screams Alienware, but you would be mistaken as this is Asus’s first gaming desktop with up to four terabytes of storage, three-way NVIDIA SLI, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a Core 2 Extreme processor and powered by dual power supplies.
