Magnetic Air Car: fuel-less vehicle ready in 2010
We are in a time now where everything we do to our environment matters, we need to reduce our emissions to safe guard our children. Most auto companies are doing their part, but they still rely on Gas as well as Electricity.
There is one car that does not rely on any of these, and that is the Magnetic Air Car. This vehicle will be the first fuel-less car. It sounds like something that is decades away, but we could be seeing it on our roads by 2010.
The Magnetic Air Car works in a simple way, Paul Donovan, the company representative explains that the vehicle uses a silicon salt battery. This has 30 percent more mass power than a standard lead acid storage battery, as a result can charge fully in less than an hour.

Chrysler has taken to the drawing board and have redesigned its Peapod range of electric cars, we love the look of the GEM (Green Eco Mobility) Peapod from the Chrysler’s electric car division and with its brand new redesigned centre console specifically for iPod and iPhone integration, this new set-up will allow for easy hands-free calling in a very quiet car.
Chrysler has also added supportive, ergonomic mesh seating for fantastic air circulation; the seats are also both recycled and recyclable materials. Now for the main specs, 2.85m long, 1.7m high and 1.7m wide, 6-8 hour charge will get you 30 mile range, 12bhp electric motor will get you up to 25mph which will not break any records but still awesome for city driving. We love the world of green and solar electric vehicles especially motorcycles, we especially like the looks of the Prometheus Solar Electric motorcycle, the question is “Is the Prometheus Solar Electric Motorcycle impractical?
It all started with a wife who had a Ninja 250 that was not getting used, well at the Santa Monica AltCar Expo the Prometheus Solar Electric Motorcycle was spotted, AutoblogGreen talks about this bike.
The little picture we have here shows the motorcycle with four solar panel behind it, these offer 800-watts which is way more than enough to recharge the bike. However during testing batteries were blown up twice which is not a nice thought, the bike is inspired by Craig Vetter’s fuel efficiency contests of the 1980s, the technical lists shows that the bike uses lithium-ion phosphate batteries from Thundersky that have a 4.6 kWh capacity connected to a 10 HP Perm PMG 132 motor and can do a nice 70 mph with a range of 50 miles, read the full article here.
