Nintendo Switch stock fears for Holiday, Christmas 2017

By Alan Ng - Sep 8, 2017

If the Nintendo Switch is your target this year during the Black Friday sales in the US or the Christmas 2017 sales in the UK, we have a word of warning to you.

Nintendo has hinted that there could be challenges in meeting demand for the Nintendo Switch during the Holiday season, with the company adding that they are focusing on being able to meet their 10 million units sold target by the end of the year.

When speaking to Variety recently, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime had this to say about the upcoming stock challenge during Holiday 2017.

“Certainly the demand is there, and our supply chain is there. Are we going to have enough for the holiday? That’s what we are focused on.”

It’s been no secret that the Nintendo Switch has already had shortage problems in the UK especially this year, so hopefully Nintendo will ensure that buyers can pre-order from their local retailer without issues.

Are you waiting for Nintendo Switch deals to arrive before taking the plunge on this new system? We predict that there is going to be a price war by the time Black Friday arrives, which will mean a much lower price than $299.99/£279.99 which is a win win situation for you.
