ESO server maintenance with no ETA on March 16

By Alan Ng - Mar 16, 2017

We have a quick word of warning that once again, the Elder Scrolls Online servers are down for maintenance on March 16.

As usual, there is no heads-up from the developers with regards to an ETA on when things will be back up after the ESO server maintenance today.

Above is the schedule from the developers, confirming that ESO servers are down on both PS4 and Xbox One in Europe and North America.

We can’t be the only ones frustrated with the lack of ETA to at least give gamers a heads-up on when they will be able to play again.

This is the least that the team could do you would feel, especially since it appears to be a big period of maintenance if they need to take both regions down.

Nope. I’ve played MMO’s for a long time and an ETA for maintenance has been in my experience a loose call. I would say it’s better to not be informed of an ETA when it very likely won’t happen. Anyone familiar with server maintenance and updates know that it can range from as low as less than an hour to an entire day depending on many factors including patches and unforeseen circumstances.
