Hitachi 48HK6T64U 48-inch Ultra HD TV Argos reviews for 4K

If you are looking to grab yourself a bargain on a new TV, one model you might be interested in is the Hitachi 48-inch Inch Ultra HD Smart LED TV sold at Argos.

For a limited time only, you can buy this set for just £299.99 at Argos which is an instant £50 saving off the usual price of £349.99.

A 48-inch 4K TV under the magical £300 mark is obviously very tempting but just how good are its 4K features compared to other brands on the market?

Right away, you need to know that the Hitachi 48HK6T64U does not come with HDR support. This could be bad news for PS4 Pro and Xbox One S gamers, but elsewhere it has some very impressive features.

The standout for us is 4 HDCP 2.2 compatible HDMI ports which will come in very useful indeed this year when the likes of Sky Q and other 4K services require this as a minimum requirement to work – some TVs only usually have one or two supporting ports, but this one you get all four.

Netflix 4K support also comes out of the box which is a big incentive and picture quality is great despite the lack of HDR.

Other standard features include Smart apps, 50Hz motion rate, 3 USB ports, Freeview HD, DLNA and a SRS TruSurround HD sound system.

To see what other buyers have said about this particular model, you can read through the Hitachi 48-inch Inch Ultra HD Smart LED TV reviews at Argos here and decide on whether this is a worthy upgrade for you.

For £299.99 we would recommend it especially with the four HDCP 2.2 port support which is a definite highlight. Are you interested in this model? Let us know if you have any questions below.
