Natwest app not working on Dec 20, struggling to establish a connection

We have been trying for the best part of an hour, but the Natwest banking app is still down, and we are not sure how long it will not be working for. Things were ok before we went to bed, and so the Natwest app has only been having problems from today, December 20, 2016. It’s a bit of a pain really, and several Product Reviews readers have been in contact to complain to us about it to get their point across, as they would like to know how much money they have in their accounts before going out spending more during the Christmas rush.

You are still able to login to online banking, and so there is only an issue with Natwest Mobile Banking. We have just visited the Natwest Service Status page and they have updated things within the last 20 minutes for so.

The latest status message reads, “We’re sorry if you’re having trouble getting into your Mobile Banking, we are working hard to resolve the issue and will keep you updated. Online and Telephone Banking services are working as normal. Thanks for your patience and apologies for any problems this may cause you.”

We have no idea how long the team will be working on the issue, but we do hope that they fix things fast, as this could not have come at a worse time.
