We know that a lot of you are currently looking to buy a new Samsung 4K TV specifically to use on Sony’s new PS4 Pro console.
The big attraction is HDR but there’s a lot of confusion in the air as to which 4K TVs actually support the right type of HDR required, as there are different standards and brand manufacturers don’t exactly make it easy by slapping their own labelling onto HDR on top of this.
With this in mind, we want to give you a quick heads-up on the Samsung 60-inch 4K 120Hz LED Smart HDTV 60KU6300 TV which is being sold by Target with a massive discount during the November sales and well below the $1000 price tag which you would usually find this model around.
You’ll be pleased to know that the Samsung UN60KU6300 with HDR10 will offer great support for the PS4 Pro. While this model won’t support Wide Color Gamut, it will offer a 10bit Color Depth Gradient along with an input lag of 36.7ms under the 4k @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4 + HDR specification.
This is confirmed in the benchmark analysis performed by Rtings as you can see in the chart below.
HDCP 2.2 is also supported making this Samsung model ideal for gamers with that low input lag. We’ve heard Target may be selling this for under $700 during the sales so if you manage to pick one up for that price it’s an absolute steal.
For general Samsung UN60KU6300FXZA reviews, this model currently holds a 67% 5-star rating on Amazon which is very impressive.
