One of the new LG 4K TV models that is being offered with a big discount during the November sales is the LG 49UF675V Ultra HD 4K 49-Inch TV from Amazon.
While offering the trending 4K resolution which many of you are hunting for right now as you look to upgrade, we do have one word of warning for those that are planning to buy this model without hesitation.
We’ve seen the LG 49UF675V for sale at Amazon UK for as low as £515 which is a wonderful price given this model usually sells for around the £900 price region.
LG 49UF675V specs include an Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with 4K upscaling, Real Cinema 24p and Active Noise Reduction.
The warning though as a heads-up, is that the LG 49UF675V Ultra HD 4K 49-Inch TV is not a Smart TV as it doesn’t have built-in WiFi.
This means you will need to buy your own WiFi stick if you want to enjoy apps such as Netflix or YouTube on this TV which may be frustrating to some buyers.
Next, we can confirm that this model only has two HDMI ports, which again is rather surprising as any good 4K TV set would come with 3 as a bare minimum for today’s standard – this is not going to be ideal for those with multiple media boxes to connect up.
Perhaps the most important warning of all though, is that the LG 49UF675V does not come with LG’s HDR Pro picture technology, which means that new gaming consoles such as the PS4 Pro or Xbox One S cannot benefit from it.
Examples of other LG 4K models that do support HDR Pro are the LG 55-inch 55UH605V which we also gave you some information on recently as another model that is selling with a reduced price this month.
We wouldn’t want you to purchase this TV then discover these shortcomings, so make sure you are aware of them – full LG 49UF675V tech specs are here for a further breakdown.
