Fireflies Wireless Earbuds review with great value

By Alan Ng - Nov 8, 2016

One gadget that is top of the wishlist during the busy shopping season is the Fireflies Wire-Free earbuds by Fireflies Audio. These handy little buds were the subject of a successful Kickstarter campaign and now those who pledged their money have been taking them for a spin to see if the purchase was worth it or not.

You can now buy yourself a set of Fireflies Wireless Earbuds for $149.99 direct through the official website, but those who backed the product during the Kickstarter campaign were able to get a set for $79.99.

First of all you can take a look at what you get inside the box, with many buyers admitting to have not been blown away by the simple packaging.

Aside from that though, the earbuds work as intended and offer a high quality audio solution via Bluetooth without the need for any wires getting in the way.

The buds charge inside the dock cleverly, with the dock itself being charged by USB cable. The all important Fireflies Wireless earbuds battery life will last around 3 hours on a single charge, but if the dock is fully charged you can get 12 hours of playtime from them before the charging dock needs to be connected up again.

There is no microphone on these earbuds so you can’t answer calls with them. The Fireflies buds will however automatically stop the song you are listening to whenever a call comes in so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
