Update: MacBook Pro 2016 countdown to exact release time

By Peter Chubb - Oct 27, 2016

Update: We are now in the final couple of hours to learn when the new MacBook Pro will be released, although news has come to light that Apple could actually start selling new Mac models right after the event.

Apple really needs to pull out all the stops later today, and we are not just talking about the new MacBook Pro, but also the 2016 iMac update as well. We knew that Microsoft was going to unveil an all-in-one, but no one was truly prepared for the powerhouse that is the Surface Studio AIO.

We already discussed how Apple really needs to make some major changes to the MacBook Pro, but the iMac is now starting to look old when compared to the Studio, and so all eyes will be on Apple’s event, which begins later today.

The MacBook Pro 2016 countdown to its exact release time has now begun, as we enter the final few hours. While we are not certain when its release date will actually be, we will know by today during the event, which you can see a worldwide start time HERE.

Let’s not forget about that iMac though, because Apple not only needs to make a few design changes, but also has to make some major changes to its hardware. Having said that, Apple also needs to keep the 2016 iMac price down, and not make the same mistake people think Microsoft has made, as the Studio price seems far too high for many of you.

Apple could also announce a few more product launches later today, with the Mac mini and the Mac Pro both in need of a refresh.

What do you expect to see from the Apple event later today?
