While most of you have learned to live with getting around a day of usage out of your Apple Watch before having to recharge it again, there are those of you that find this frustrating and so cannot wait for the second generation model. However, do not expect the Apple Watch 2 battery life to be anything spectacular, and so you might need to rely on a third-party accessory.

Only getting a days battery life is not too much of an issue for those of you that are always near a power outlet, but what about those that will not be near any source of power for a while? Thankfully, there are solutions out there, one of which does offer increased battery life – although none as good as the new GoPower Watch battery.

Apple Watch battery life now extended up to 7 days

Kanex claims that the 4000mAh battery is enough to fully charge your Apple Watch around 6 times. With this in mind, that means not only will you have the 1 day of charge from the watch itself, but another 6 from this portable battery charger – meaning up to 7 days of usage from the wearable.

In terms of features, you have a blue indicator that lets you know the power level of how much charge the battery has. There is also an indicator that lets you know the status as it diminishes, which goes in quarter increments in a counterclockwise motion. You can also charge your Apple Watch and iPhone simultaneously, although you will only get about two full charges for your iPhone out of the GoPower Watch.

As for price, it will cost $99.95 in the US, or £99.95 in the UK, and so more expensive in the United Kingdom. For more details you can head to kanex.com/gopowerwatch.
