We know what you are thinking, where are the 2017 Skoda Kodiaq interior images, seeing as though the Czech carmaker has teased us with some amazing shots of the new SUV exterior? Well, the good news is that you will not be kept waiting long, as the new Skoda Kodiaq will see its worldwide debut next week on September 1.
This is great news when you consider that its debut had been expected to be at the Paris motor show the month after. If the exterior is anything to go by (see video below), then the cabin area looks set to be a place of beauty, something that you would never had said about Skoda 10 years ago.
What we know so far – The 2017 Skoda Kodiaq will be a smaller version of the Yeti, and so will cater for a new market, especially those looking for something either a bit smaller, or with a cheaper price tag.
While there will be several engine options, we only know of one for now, and that is the 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol, which as we know is fitted to various models from the VW Group. In terms of its design we can already see it will come with wheels of a 10-spoke raked star-shape design, similar to those seen on Audi vehicles. The front grille looks a little like a moustache, and the headlights do sport that LED signature look.
Going back to that interior, and we suspect that it will come with some pretty impressive tech, such as a state-of-the-art infotainment system, WiFi hotspot, along with support for Android Auto, and Apple’s carPlay. Its interior is also expected to borrow a few design touches from the Superb.
Come back next week where we hope to offer you even greater insight.
