Blu R1 HD data and battery life consumption questioned

By Peter Chubb - Jul 12, 2016

Amazon is currently offering the Blu R1 HD handset for just $50 today during Prime Day, although it does come with a catch, and that’s the fact you need to either be a member of Amazon Prime or sign-up to it. Now some will see this as a great deal if they are already members, but there is still another sting in the tail, and that is you will need to agree to see ads on your phone’s lock screen.

There are so many questions that need to be answered, some of which can be found in the Blu R1 HD review, although you’ll be hard pushed to find any. However, we have managed to locate a video review for your viewing enjoyment, which you can see below.

It’s not known if it will be able to answer two buring questions that are being demanded, and those are the Blu R1 HD data consumption, and whether it will have an effect on battery life?

Some people are also asking if there is a work around for this ad thing, but then again if you were able to stop the ads from appearing, then this could very well void the warranty. The thing is, you are not being forced to buy the phone at such a cheap price, so if you are not happy with the deal, then just pay the full price and stop moaning.

Put it this way, the nearest rival to this phone is the Moto G4 and that costs $150 with special offers and lock screen ads, and so you might start to consider the Blu R1 HD, even with the small compromise.
