If you are thinking of pre-ordering the Fujifilm X-T2, then you may wish to consider going with Jessops because of their special bonus offer that could help towards the cost of the new mirrorless camera.
So what’s this Fujifilm X-T2 pre-order bonus with Jessops? – All you need to do is trade-in your old camera, and you will receive an extra £100 towards the purchase of the Fujifilm X-T2., which as you may already know is considered a major upgrade over the old X-T1. This sum is already on top of the figure that the camera specialist will give you for selected cameras.
The list of cameras that you are able to trade-in are the Fuji X-T1 Body, Nikon D7200, Canon 7D II and the Sony A7R. The prices that you will receive are £460.87, £460.87, £730.83 and £394.55 respectively. This means that the price you would have to pay for the body only after trading in those cameras would work out to £877.74, £838.13, £568.17 and £904.45 respectively. Full details can be found on Jessops.com.
Main differences – While there are so many new features and improvements, which you will be able to see in the Fujifilm X-T2 video review below, we thought we would highlight the main ones. These are as follows; 24.3-megapixel (APS-C) X-Trans CMOS III sensor, which does not have a low-pass filter. The benefit of this is that you should be able to capture images as though you would from a DSLR. There is also a X-Processor Pro chip, which is able to produce a more precise autofocus system, although this is also aided with improved algorithms.
The camera is not ready to take ownership of just yet though, as you will not be able to get your hands on it until September, which is when it will finally become available.
