Facebook has gotten into the Euro 2016 spirit with their latest Messenger easter egg. We already offered details on the previous hidden game, which was basketball, and this time it is for football, or soccer for those that live in the US.
Having said that, this Facebook Messenger easter egg also coincides with Copa América, and so makes it perfect timing for both sporting events.
The game is a simple, yet tricky one where you have to play keepie uppie, so basically keep the ball in the air for as long as possible without dropping it. The idea is to just get as many points as you can.
In order to start the game you will need the latest version of the Messenger app, and then you will need to start a new conversation with a friend or a group and then send the football emoji, but remember not the sticker. Only then does the game begin.
This hidden game is available for both Android and iOS and it will not be too long before the game becomes very addictive and it starts to consume your life. We are not talking of experience of course, as we do have self control, although we have heard from a few of our readers that they tried to better their scores by playing the game for more than 2 hours at a time- now that’s either dedication, or just plain addictiveness.
