CS 1.6 on Android download works like a dream

If you grew up on shooter games on the PC such as Counter-Strike 1.6 and thoroughly enjoyed those days, it’s time to take a trip down memory lane and revisit them thanks to an amazing discovery.

You can now download CS 1.6 on Android thanks to developer Alibek Omarov. It works in conjunction with the Steam version, so you’ll still need that to get it running smoothly.

This is full CS 1.6 though rather than a mod so all the main features are available. Obviously it is not too convenient playing directly on the screen but a lot of Android users hook up a controller wirelessly via Bluetooth so problem solved in that department.

We’ve added some CS 1.6 Android gameplay to show you it running in all its glory – how many of you had flashbacks to the the old days when you used to be in a clan and slugging it out on maps such as Dust 2, or camping it out on maps such as Dust 1?

Full instructions on how to download CS 1.6 on Android and install correctly can be found here.
