Yes folks it’s that time again, as we are always uncertain what is real and what is fake when visiting some of our favourite technology websites. However, more often than not some of them are so silly that you know right away that it has to be an April Fools’ Day prank.

One of the companies that never lets us down is Google, and their prank for this year did cause us to laugh. The Google Cardboard Plastic is their take on virtual reality, which they claim this is the world’s first actual reality headset.

You only have to look at the dedicated Google Cardboard Plastic page to see why this had us in fits of laughter, and also by viewing the comical video below.

So what is it exactly? When it comes to virtual reality nothing comes close to this device, as it truly delivers that virtual experience. One of the main features is its 4D integrated perspective, although its 360-degree spatially accurate sound also helps to complete the user experience, as does the 20/20 resolution.

We have to laugh when Google says, “what’s realer than real”?
