iPhone 7 components ready for production

By Peter Chubb - Feb 20, 2016

There is still several months to go until the official launch of the iPhone 7, although that will not stop those constant rumors. We will learn what its mobile OS will all be about during WWDC 2016, as this is when iOS 10 will finally be revealed to the world.

Going back to the phone itself, and it would seem that the iPhone 7 components are ready to start production. The report comes from Digitimes, which we know has a decent track record with these kind of things.

Several companies that are to produce components for the next iPhone are ready and waiting, and so you would assume that they will begin soon to make certain enough stock has been produced to meet demand, and also time for the actual handsets to be assembled.

Components that are said to be ready include the all-new dual-lens cameras and also the much-improved speakers. These are two of the most important features for the new 2016 iPhone, as we know that Apple wants to put greater focus on those that like to take photos, and also people that love music, as they also want to ramp up the music side of things to help increase their Apple Music users.

Having said that, there is only so much they can do in terms of speaker quality and loudness, seeing as though they are likely to still face downwards and not upwards. That and the fact there is also limits on space because of such a compact, thin design.
