No Apple Watch 2 release in March, just new models

By Peter Chubb - Jan 28, 2016

We already knew that Apple looks set to hold an event in March, where we could possibly see the launch of the iPad Air 3, but there could also be other products announced. Before you get too excited, it will not be for the Apple Watch 2, because it has been rumored that new models could be revealed instead.

By the time March comes, it would have been 11 months since the original Apple Watch was released, but it seems Apple is not yet ready to announce the second-generation model. They must still think there is a lot to get from the current model, and so feel it’s best to squeeze every last bit of life out of the one already on the market.

New Apple Watch models

New Apple Watch models during March event – Apple could launch new colors for their rubber Sports Bands, and the Hermes bands could also see new color options, and also the possibility of an additional band line from new material.

We cannot blame Apple for not releases the next-generation Apple Watch because there is still a lot they are learning, and need to make certain that when the 2nd-gen is released it has all the bells and whistles.

Also expected to be revealed in March is the iPhone 5se, which will more than likely be a 4-inch version of the iPhone 6 when going n the rumored specs.
