TCL Roku US5800 and UP130 4K TVs announced

By Peter Chubb - Jan 6, 2016

At the end of last year we noticed how popular some of the TCL TV models were that came with Roku built in, and so the company wants to build on this by launching two more models with the streaming service made part of its hardware.

The TCL Roku US5800 and UP1304K are the TV models and both pack 4K technology, which means this budget Chinese brand is about to get very serious.

The TCL Roku US5800 makes up part of the S-Series range, whereas the UP130 comes from the P-Series. Don’t expect anything amazing here to blow you away, but you do have to remember this is a budget brand.

New TCL Roku TVs

We do find it funny how TCL describes its new UP130 model, saying that it will not look out of place in any modern home – but isn’t that the case with all 4K TV s these days?

TCL is to include an enhanced remote to take full advantage of the Roku TV experience, which is to now include voice search. There is to be a choice of four different sizes, and these are 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches.

Expect to see these new models released in the spring.
